Architectural Resident Technical Officer (RTO)

Location: Central West, Singapore Working Days: 5.5 days per week Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8.00am – 5.30pm. Saturday: 8.00am – 12.00pm Contract Duration: 38 to 64 months Vacancies: Multiple positions available
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and inspect architectural works carried out on site.
- Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, codes and relevant authority requirements.
- Review and inspect fire-rated compartmentation walls for hospital wards .
- Review medical-grade architectural mock-ups and ensure required standards are met.
- Inspect seamless anti-microbial floor and wall installations .
- Ensure compliance with the BCA Accessibility Code and relevant building requirements.
- Monitor workmanship, quality, site progress and rectification works.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
- Prepare inspection records, reports and other required site documentation.
Requirements
- Valid and active RTO accreditation/registration with the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of IES/ACES is strongly preferred.
- Relevant experience as an Architectural RTO or in architectural site supervision.
- Proven experience in healthcare infrastructure, hospitals/medical institutions, high-specification cleanrooms or similar specialized environments is highly preferred.
- Relevant experience with fire-rated compartmentation, medical-grade architectural finishes, anti-microbial flooring/wall systems and accessibility requirements will be advantageous.
- Good knowledge of Singapore building regulations, codes and construction practices.
- Able to commence work at short notice or ASAP is preferred.
