The position:
SCOPE Design, develop, and deploy a new business management solution to replace the 2 existing systems. 45 countries and >3000 users. ROLE The developer is responsible for the development and unit testing of an accounting module that will be part of the technical ecosystem. This role involves development, including APIs to interconnect the module and unit tests, but may include technical specifications if necessary. The profile must be agile and ready to support teams to accelerate the delivery of the technical module for which they are responsible.
Main allocations:
- Indirect tax and VAT calculator
- The tax matrix will allow for managing the application or non-application of VAT and/or an indirect tax, based on several factors.
o These factors vary from one country to another. In order to allow for generic processing, a pricing grid has been defined. It includes all dimensions (from all countries) likely to impact the determination of VAT known to date.
- Matrix input:
o An HCC tax family, as well as the values associated with the input dimensions. o Consult the reference file to obtain the list of available dimensions and possible values for each of them.
- Matrix line output:
o A VAT code to apply, and potentially one or more indirect tax codes. o For a given country, each matrix must contain one output column for the VAT code, and potentially one or more output columns corresponding to the indirect taxes applicable in that country.
- Accounting Converters
- The "Accounting Converter" module has several essential missions in the accounting management process. Here is a summary of its main functions:
o Accounting configuration: The module allows you to configure the accounting parameters necessary for processing entries. o Accounting entry ordering: It manages the creation and sending of accounting entries to the accounting systems. o Data transformation: The module converts accounting data into the formats required by financial systems, such as SUN and SAP. o Credit limit and payment terms management: Ensures that credit limits and payment terms are respected during accounting. o Recognition confirmation: The module confirms that the accounting entries have been correctly recorded in the accounting systems.
- These missions are crucial to ensure that all financial transactions are correctly recorded and processed, which is essential for the company's financial management.
