Materials Analysis Officer (M/F)

Your PROMAN TOURS 2 agency is recruiting for one of its clients specialized in the automotive industry based in St Cyr/Loire a MATERIALS ANALYSIS OFFICER M/F Within an expertise laboratory composed of about twenty collaborators, you will join a team specialized in the chemical, ceramic, and polymer characterization of materials used in high-tech industrial applications. As part of analysis, development, and approval projects for new materials, you will collaborate with various internal departments: product development, testing laboratories, engineering teams, and other group stakeholders. Your missions will be: Perform analyses of lubricants (greases, oils, etc.) following tests conducted internally or externally (Water and oil content, infrared analysis, contamination analysis, etc.) Perform polymer and elastomer characterization tests as part of approvals or compatibility (hardness, mass, volume, tensile/bending tests, impact tests, thermal analyses) Evaluate analysis results, provide opinions, interpret, and propose solutions to clients Collect information and write a summary report in English Ensure compliance with ISO-IEC-17025 and IATF-16949 quality requirements This position requires proficiency in English Hours: Day shift Remuneration: Between €2500 and €2800 Gross / month depending on profile Contract type: 6-month temporary contract, position to be filled as soon as possible

Profile sought: You hold a higher education degree in materials (Bac+2 to Bac+5) and have a first significant experience in the field of materials analysis. Your level of English, both spoken and written, allows you to write technical reports, conduct conference calls, and write emails effectively You have skills in the fields of Polymer and Lubricant materials: infrared spectrometry, water content analysis, pollution analysis, thermal analyses, mechanical characterization tests You have a strong interest in part investigation, data analysis, and enjoy solving technical problems.
