Industrial Buyer (M/F)

The Engineering division of PROMAN EXPERTISE is looking for an INDUSTRIAL BUYER (M/F) for its client, a company specializing in the production of high-quality fittings. This position is a permanent contract (CDI), based in ROGNAC.

As an International Buyer, your mission will be to support the Purchasing Manager and, more broadly, the department in its development. You will participate in the purchasing of certain product ranges in close collaboration with the purchasing manager.

***Operationally support the purchasing department

• Negotiate with factories
• Manage the purchasing of certain product ranges
• Calculate cost prices and update databases
• Propose sales price evolutions based on cost price changes to guarantee margins (occasionally and during catalog updates)
• Assist in strategic decision-making by conducting specific economic and profitability studies
• Integrate new product nomenclatures into the system
• Update the maximum discount file for the sales force
• Create and monitor calls for tender

***Education: Bachelor's (Bac +3) to Master's (Bac +5) in purchasing or equivalent.

• Experience: 3 years in purchasing management (experience in valve/fittings industry would be a plus)
• IT: Proficiency in Excel, AS400, or any other decision-making tool.
• Languages: Fluent English is imperative.
