DevOps Intern

We are looking for a DevOps Intern to help ensure agility and efficiency in meeting the demands of the development team and continuous software delivery, acting in the construction of new initiatives and applications with direct integration to business areas. You must seek innovative solutions that allow for better development, in less time and with higher quality, in addition to helping to solve day-to-day problems and ensuring reuse and optimization of resources, and will be responsible for enabling development teams in the efficient and secure use of the continuous delivery and automated testing (CI) ecosystem of applications using Java/Spring Boot, jenkins, gitlab CI, and Containers technologies.
💛Responsibilities and assignments
- Support the administration and control of Selic DevOps environments (Tools: Jenkins/Git/Sonar/Scripts, etc.) alongside Developers, Application Support, and Systems Architects;
- Help in the automation of tasks with scripts (Python, Shell, or Java);
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines;
- Prepare solution presentations for the technical body;
- Issuance of DevOps activity statistics reports.
- Work with and promote the use of containers as well as Kubernetes/Openshift management;
- Act proactively with development and performance teams, involving resource provisioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, security (DevSecOPs), and the evolution of technologies related to your area.
Requirements and qualifications
- Currently pursuing higher education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Basic English for reading and understanding technical documentation.
- Interest in Cloud Computing, DevOps, automation, and SRE culture technologies.
- Ability to use Office suite tools autonomously for the preparation of documents, presentations, and analyses.
- Practical experience with Linux (command line, file manipulation, permissions, processes, and basic scripts). (Will be evaluated in a practical test).
- Notions of scripting and automation using Shell Script, Python, or equivalent language.
- Interest and ease of learning new technologies and tools.
Differentials:
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networks, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, basic routing, and connectivity diagnosis.
- Previous participation in some infrastructure, automation, or development project.
- Proven practical experience with Docker and troubleshooting.
Necessary Soft Skills:
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ease of working in a team and sharing knowledge.
- Dynamism.

Work location: Our office is located in the downtown region of Rio de Janeiro. We are working in a hybrid manner, office (3x per week) and home-office (2x per week).
