Product Owner (m/f/d)
We develop digital products and services for the monitoring and diagnosis of industrial plants. Our data-driven solutions improve the maintenance and operation of machines.
To strengthen our Product Management team in the area of Digital Products & Services (DPS), we are looking for a dedicated Product Owner (m/f/d).
Your Mission
You develop digital products that turn complex industrial data into clear, actionable decisions.
As a Product Owner, you are responsible for the functional success of our software solutions – from the product idea to measurable customer benefit. Your goal: create added value, set priorities, and continuously improve products.
Your Tasks
As a Product Owner, you take over the further development of our digital products – from the idea to a successful release:
- You are responsible for the product backlog and set clear priorities with a focus on customer benefit and business value
- You translate business requirements into understandable User Stories with clear acceptance criteria
- You are the central interface between development, UX, analytics, and internal stakeholders
- You define sprint goals and duration, accept results, and ensure real added value
- You plan releases, keep an eye on dependencies, and continuously develop the product using feedback and usage data
- You create transparency regarding product priorities and upcoming work packages and ensure clear communication with development teams and central stakeholders
Your Profile
- Completed studies in the field of engineering, computer science, mechatronics, or similar
- Several years of experience in product management or product ownership, ideally in the environment of industrial software, IoT, or condition monitoring
- Very good understanding of agile development methods (Scrum, Kanban), ideally with certification (e.g., CSPO)
- Analytical, structured way of working and strong decision-making skills
- Ability to understand technical contexts and communicate them in a target-group-oriented manner
- Very good English skills in speaking and writing
Advantageous (not a must)
- Experience in the field of machine diagnosis, condition monitoring, or predictive maintenance
- Background in an industrial environment or mechanical engineering
- Experience with data- or analytics-driven products
