Interim Merchandise Planner

For Profuomo, we are looking for an experienced Interim Merchandise Planner who will be responsible for the merchandise planning of our consignment partners for a period of six months (start date November / December). As a Merchandise Planner, you play a crucial role in driving performance at our customers. You combine sharp analyses with commercial insight, identify opportunities, and translate these into concrete actions to optimize turnover and inventory performance. From our office in Capelle aan den IJssel, you will work intensively with the relevant commercial and operational teams.

What you will do: Data analysis & forecasting: You analyze sales figures and inventory levels at our customers and create accurate forecasts to ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time. To achieve this, you monitor budgets, sellthrough, and availability per point of sale.

Performance optimization: You monitor and steer the performance of our customers through data-driven insights and proactive recommendations.

Communication with customers: You maintain a strong relationship with our retail partners, advise them based on analyses, and think along about how we can achieve the best results together.

During the purchasing season, you work with our partners on the selection and composition of the seasonal collection.

Internal collaboration: You work closely with the Sales, Product Development, IT, and Logistics departments.

Reporting: You develop and present reports on sales performance, inventory management, and market dynamics.

Your competencies: You have HBO working and thinking level and relevant experience as a Merchandise Planner, preferably within retail, fashion, or a similar commercial environment; experience with consignment is a plus;

You are strong in forecasting, inventory control, budget monitoring, and commercial analysis;

You have extensive knowledge of Excel; experience with planning, ERP, and BI systems is a plus;

You are analytical, accurate, pragmatic, and result-oriented;

You communicate clearly and know how to involve different stakeholders in your advice;

Experience in implementation processes for ERP and allocation systems is a plus.

You have perfect command of the Dutch/English language, both spoken and written.
