Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and reliable Drop Bury Independent Contractor to join our team in delivering and installing fiber optic and telecommunications infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for safely performing underground cable installations, including burying and dropping fiber optic cables according to industry standards and safety regulations. As an independent contractor, you will work autonomously while adhering to project timelines and safety protocols. Responsibilities Perform underground cable drops and bury fiber optic cables accurately following technical drawings, schematics, and installation specifications. Use diagnostic tools, telecommunications testing equipment, voltmeters, and fiber splicing devices to troubleshoot and verify network integrity. Install telecommunications network cables including fiber optic cables, copper cabling, and low voltage wiring in outdoor environments. Maintain detailed records of installation activities, test results, safety checks, and project documentation for quality assurance.
