Information about the position

Professionals Nord is seeking a metallization operator in thermal spraying on behalf of Lämneå Bruk. The assignment is part of our personnel leasing where you will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Lämneå Bruk for six months. The intention is that you will, in the long term, be able to be employed directly by Lämneå Bruk, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

About the role

As a metallization operator, you work with thermal spraying and associated processing. You prepare and process components before and after the spraying process through, among other things, turning, welding, blasting, grinding, and polishing. You also handle production equipment and ensure that the work maintains the correct quality.

Part of the role is to contribute to improvements in structure, working methods, flows, and the working environment. In the long term, there is also an opportunity to take on a supervisory responsibility.

Your tasks include:

Perform metallization and thermal spraying of components according to given requirements and specifications Prepare and post-process components through, for example, turning, welding, blasting, grinding, and polishing Set up, handle, and monitor production equipment as well as perform simple troubleshooting Perform quality controls and document production results Work with order and structure according to 5S as well as contribute to improvements in working methods, flows, and the working environment Participate in the company's quality and safety work

We are looking for you who:

Have experience in turning Have experience in welding Have experience from industry, workshop, or other practical activities with technical content Have good technical understanding and an interest in machines and production processes Master Swedish in speech and writing Have good knowledge of English, as work instructions, documentation, and communication may occur in English

Experience in turning and welding may have been acquired both through work and in your free time. Experience from, for example, personal projects, hobby activities, or work in your own workshop is therefore also relevant. The important thing is that you have practical experience and feel confident with the basics.

It is meritorious if you have:

Experience in metallization, thermal spraying, or other surface treatment Experience in grinding and polishing Experience in robotic production or robot technology Experience in reading drawings and metrology Forklift or overhead crane license
