POSITION:

Within the design engineering office for new products, you will be responsible, among other things, for:

• Participating in the development of new products
• Modeling structures, boilerplate equipment, and piping in CAD following guide documents
• Creating detailed drawings, updating them, and tracking modifications
• Ergonomic layout of assembly drawings and creating bills of materials for assembly operations
• Taking into account manufacturing, transport, and maintenance constraints during design
• Rigorous organization and filing of entrusted documents,
• Any proposal for improving CAD/CAE tools and methods

SEARCHED PROFILE:

This job is accessible to holders of a degree in the sought-after field (Bac +2, ideally in industrial design).

You have at least 3 years of successful professional experience in an engineering office, ideally in the design of boilerplate equipment and piping.

You are autonomous and rigorous with good communication and listening skills.

You have knowledge in boilermaking, piping, general mechanics, and you are familiar with industrial production methods. You apply the professional standards of these trades in your designs and drawings, and strictly respect the applicable input data (Specifications, standards, procedures, etc.). You also have notions in reading PIDs and piping isometrics, and knowledge of strength and material selection.

You have perfect mastery of SolidWorks software and its PDM and Routing functionalities, and you have notions in 2D CAD.

Your level of English allows you to understand technical terms.
