About the role

In the role of senior requirements manager, you will work in technically complex projects where the requirements landscape, acceptance, and how the requirements are to be followed up need to be established early. You will operate close to the customer at a high-level system level and function as a cohesive link between technical project management, system architecture, verification, and other specialists.

The role involves you often stepping in as early as the tender phase (RFQ) and driving the work of making the customer's requirements landscape clear, realistic, and feasible from the start. You structure large sets of requirements, ensure traceability, and ensure that connection points between systems as well as responsibilities between parties become sufficiently clear so that the project can be driven effectively. You identify conflicting requirements and contribute to ensuring that expectations, acceptance criteria, and follow-up are defined early, before the project enters implementation.

Examples of tasks

• Drive dialogue with the customer regarding requirements, expectations, and acceptance,
• Interpret, structure, and formulate requirements at a high-level system level
• Ensure that requirements are verifiable and possible to follow throughout the project via traceability
• Identify conflicting requirements and initiate technical trade-offs
• Define acceptance setups early and ensure that requirements are linked to acceptance criteria
• Handle requirements related to, for example, ILS, safety, and non-functional requirements as well as relevant regulations
• Lead and facilitate workshops with customers and external parties
• Support technical project managers and contribute to the collaboration with system architecture and verification functions

Your competence

We are looking for you who thrives in a customer-facing and coordinating role where structure, traceability, and clear communication make a difference. You work methodically, maintain the big picture, and have the ability to translate complex needs into requirements that can be followed up and approved. You collaborate stably in environments with many stakeholders and can drive dialogues where both technical trade-offs and expectations need to land early.

Requirements

We are looking for you who has:

• Experience in requirements management
• Understanding of processes and structure in requirements work
• Ability to drive dialogue with customers and various technical functions
• Ability to work at a system level and lift your gaze from the details
• Experience with requirements management tools
• Experience working in technical projects with large and complex sets of requirements
• Good English in speech and writing

Experience from military operations or defense-related contexts, as well as work in DOORS, is meritorious. As a person, you are structured, curious, and clear in your communication, with a good ability to sort information and drive decisions when the requirements landscape is extensive.

The position requires you to undergo a security clearance according to applicable regulations. For certain positions, special requirements regarding citizenship may apply.
