About the position As a system engineer, you will work with the development of advanced antenna and sensor systems in technically complex development projects. The role involves overall responsibility for the system's function and performance, where you work closely with the development and testing organization to ensure that technical solutions meet the business requirements. You translate high-level customer and product requirements into system requirements, specifications, and technical solutions, and are responsible for requirements management, architecture, and verification strategies. The role involves many contact surfaces and close collaboration with hardware engineers, software engineers, testing engineers, project management, and production. You follow the systems through the entire development chain, from requirements analysis and technical investigations to verification and follow-up of test results. The work includes both new development and further development of products where sensors, electronics, signal processing, and system performance are in focus.
You will become part of a team of approximately 13 system engineers and specialists with backgrounds from, among others, telecom, electronics, RF, signal processing, and other technically advanced development environments. Examples of tasks:
Take responsibility for the system's entirety, function, and technical solutions
Translate customer and product requirements into system requirements and specifications
Define system architecture as well as verification and test strategies
Ensure that the system meets functional and technical requirements
Participate in technical investigations and analyses within sensors, signals, and electronics
Collaborate closely with the development, test, and production organization
Follow up on verification, tests, and technical results
Your competence We are looking for you who has experience in system engineering work in complex technical development environments. You are used to translating high-level requirements into technical solutions and have a good understanding of how complex systems are developed, integrated, and verified over time. To succeed in the role, we see that you: Have around 5–7 years of experience in hardware-oriented system engineering work
Have experience of system development in complex technical environments
Have worked with requirements management and requirements decomposition
Have experience of technical development projects
Have the ability to work at a system level and see the whole picture
Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
It is meritorious if you have experience in RF technology, signal processing, electronics development, or other advanced hardware-oriented development environments. Experience from telecom, for example work with base stations or communication systems, is also seen as valuable As a person, you are self-driven, structured, and enjoy driving technical issues forward. You are curious, responsible, and find it easy to collaborate with people from different technical areas.
The position is security cleared and means that you need to be approved in a security clearance. In connection with this, requirements for certain citizenship may occur.
