Your responsibilities As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work in the client's technical transformation initiative, where the focus lies on building common platforms, components, and ways of working that can be used widely within the organization. The role combines advanced technology with close collaboration with the business and involves helping different teams move forward faster in their development. You will work practically with complex technical problems within various product areas. This may involve building AI-based solutions, setting up cloud environments, developing reusable components, establishing CI/CD flows, or guiding teams on how they can work more modernly and efficiently.

The work takes place close to the client's product and business operations. The team does not function as a traditional IT or consulting organization, but steps in where there is a need for technical direction, common structures, and practical support. The goal is to create momentum, build capability, and hand over solutions and ways of working that the business can drive forward independently.

An important part of the role is being able to switch between hands-on development and change management. In some initiatives, the emphasis may lie on coding and technical problem-solving; in others, on holding workshops, creating understanding, and helping other teams start using new platforms, tools, and ways of working. You will work in environments where the solution is not always defined from the start. This means you need to be able to identify needs, create structure in complex issues, and contribute to technical choices that strengthen long-term development.

• Building and further developing common platforms and components
• Developing solutions within, for example, AI, cloud, edge computing, and CI/CD
• Identifying reusable components in existing and new initiatives
• Collaborating closely with engineers, architects, designers, and domain experts
• Guiding teams in technical choices, modern ways of working, and best practice
• Holding workshops and supporting businesses in technical and organizational change
• Transforming unclear and complex needs into clear technical solutions
• Contributing to modular architecture and common technical structures

Your competence To be eligible for the role, we see that you have experience in software development and thrive in roles where technology is combined with collaboration, communication, and change. You have a good understanding of how modern technical solutions are built, integrated, and used in large organizations.

We see that you have:

• Experience in programming in, for example, Python, Java, C++, or TypeScript
• A good understanding of system architecture and integrations
• Experience working with cloud platforms, for example, Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Experience with modern development methods and tools, for example, cloud, CI/CD, and agile ways of working
• Experience in handling unclear requirements and translating complex needs into concrete solutions
• Proficiency in communicating technical solutions in English in dialogue with technical teams and the business

It is meritorious if you have experience in digital transformation, AI-based solutions, edge computing, real-time systems, modular architecture, or reusable components. Experience in holding workshops, guiding other teams, or driving technical change initiatives is also valuable.

As a person, you are curious, collaborative, and confident in contacting other parts of the organization. You have the ability to explain technical solutions in a pedagogical way and can create understanding even in contexts where the prerequisites are unclear. You are humble regarding others' perspectives, see opportunities in complex environments, and have a solution-oriented way of driving work forward.

The position is security-cleared and means that you need to be approved in a security clearance. In connection with this, requirements for certain citizenship may apply.
