Application Support Engineer – DV Cleared Our client is urgently looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to join their team on a contract basis, initially for 6 months with a view to extend. Please note, the role is OUTSIDE of IR35. You must hold live UKIC DV. The role is on-site 4 days per week in Gloucester. Application Support Engineer – Key Skills: Must hold a live UKIC DV Understanding of networking and software architectures Understanding of structured text formats: JSON, XML, CSV The below skills are nice to have: Exposure to programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, and Go API definitions: Swagger / Open API 3 Shell scripting AWS or other cloud platforms’ administration Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles Infrastructure as code and configuration management tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible) CI/CD pipelines and automation practices Understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems Kubernetes – cloud or on-prem Application Support Engineer – DV Cleared
