Do you want to start working in technology, but have little experience yet? No problem! We will train you internally in a short period of time to become a fully qualified field service fitter. After your training, you will work at various (international) locations on the installation of high-voltage cables. Due to safety reasons, you will work exclusively in day shifts.

Job Description

In this position, you will work on-site - both nationally and internationally - on the installation and assembly of high-voltage cables. You will start with an intensive internal training course of several months, after which you will start working independently or in a team on various projects.

Your tasks:

• Executing work orders on-site
• Assembly and disassembly of high-voltage cables
• Welding and metalworking
• Troubleshooting existing cable connections
• Performing quality controls
• Administrative processing of performed activities

You will work under the guidance of a team leader and be part of a close-knit team of fitters. Cooperation, reliability, and safety are central.

Job Requirements

You are an ambitious starter or beginning technician who truly wants to learn the trade of a fitter. You are flexible and do not find it a problem to travel regularly or to be away from home for longer periods.

What we ask of you:

• A technical education (MBO level)
• In possession of a VCA certificate (or willing to obtain this)
• Experience with electrotechnics, metalworking, welding, or reading technical drawings is a plus
• Proficiency in the English language
• You are a true team player
