Your activities:

• You are responsible for the strategic development and implementation of the commodity group strategy for defined material groups and actively shape a high-performance supplier portfolio.
• You conduct comprehensive market and procurement analyses, identify new suppliers, and evaluate them using structured potential and supplier assessments.
• As part of the procurement strategy, you independently plan and conduct price and condition negotiations, including annual price negotiations and cross-location framework agreement design.
• You play a decisive role in make-or-buy decisions as well as the identification and realization of savings potential for your commodity group.
• As an interface to Engineering, Quality, Production Planning, and Finance, you coordinate technical and commercial issues and actively support suppliers in development projects.
• You support the assurance of the corporate group's quality guidelines, process complaints in cooperation with Quality Assurance, and drive continuous supplier development.
• You take over order and contract management (including NDA, strategic framework agreements, and project-specific agreements) as well as the tracking of relevant KPIs (e.g., PPV, TCA, ACE).

Your profile

• You have a completed degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
• You bring relevant professional experience in international plant or mechanical engineering and have sound knowledge of strategic procurement as well as handling ERP/SAP systems.
• You possess the ability to strategically align commodity groups, recognize trends in the procurement market early, and derive long-term measures for cost, quality, and risk optimization.
• With your good English skills in speaking and writing, you communicate confidently with international suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Your structured, analytical, and solution-oriented way of working enables you to strategically further develop commodity groups and identify potential early on.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, a professional appearance, as well as teamwork, commitment, and self-motivation characterize you.
• You are willing to undertake occasional domestic and international travel and bring high personal responsibility as well as strong coordinative and problem-solving competencies.
• Stays at our Stollberg location are a matter of course for you to ensure close cooperation with the management of Strategic Procurement.
