Senior Topside Project Engineer

We are PRIO, the largest independent oil and gas company in Brazil. We continuously seek the optimization of operational processes and innovative solutions aimed at reducing costs. Here, all work is multidisciplinary and every challenge is unique! We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to work in the Topside Engineering area at our office. Being responsible for acting in the strategic management of the organization's project portfolio. Your mission will be to ensure the continuous analysis of project performance, evaluating causes and impacts that influence their results.#LI-DS1

#LI-ONSITEResponsibilities and assignments

• Responsible for supporting the assessment of causes/impacts on project performance;
• Evaluate the project portfolio, verifying interdependence, project overlap, and the distribution of available resources, to optimize resource use and communicate potential portfolio adjustments to management;
• Administer the portfolio, aligning organizational strategy with ongoing projects;
• Establish processes for prioritization, communication, and portfolio balancing, ensuring optimized use of resources;
• Define and monitor key performance indicators, ensuring they reflect the strategic and operational objectives of the organization;
• Coordinate the dissemination of indicators to relevant areas.

Requirements and qualifications

Academic background: Completed degree in Engineering.

Desired and/or mandatory previous experience:

• Skill in risk assessment of complex problems;
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Ability to support strategic decisions under pressure;
• Communication skills and good ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications/certifications:

• Proficiency in English;
• Knowledge of the SAP system will be a differentiator.
