Turnaround Coordinator

We are looking for a Turnaround Coordinator to work in our office in Botafogo (RJ). This professional will be responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of turnaround projects on offshore platforms, ensuring asset integrity, operational continuity, and compliance with regulatory and safety standards, through articulation between technical areas, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams, acting strategically in complex and dynamic contexts of the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities and duties

• Develop and maintain the turnaround portfolio for all company assets, aligning planning with corporate strategies and ensuring the predictability of interventions on offshore assets;
• Consolidate turnaround scopes, integrating demands reported from different areas such as preventive and corrective maintenance, projects, repairs, and regulatory requirements, ensuring readiness and the entire planning cycle;
• Ensure the performance of detailed risk analyses for each turnaround, proposing robust contingency plans that mitigate operational impacts and guarantee the safety of people, assets, and the environment;
• Conduct alignment meetings with internal and external stakeholders at critical project milestones, promoting integration between areas and ensuring clear and timely communication of planning decisions and updates;
• Elaborate, review, and control the turnaround schedule, using project management tools and corporate systems such as SAP, ensuring adherence to deadlines and synchronization between onshore and offshore teams and suppliers;
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams involved in turnarounds, promoting the efficient allocation of human, material, and equipment resources, and ensuring compliance with established quality, safety, and performance standards;
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in the planning and execution processes of turnarounds, through lessons learned and the proposal of adjustments to the project management model;
• Monitor the progress of turnarounds, ensuring compliance with the defined scope, deadline, and budget, through performance indicators, technical reports, dashboards, and follow-up meetings with leadership and other stakeholders;
• Manage interfaces with contractors, suppliers, and service providers, ensuring compliance with contracts, technical requirements, and the safety, quality, and environmental standards required by the company and regulatory bodies;
• Validate budgets and execution procedures for turnarounds, ensuring consistency between planning and execution.

Requirements and qualifications

Requirements:

• Completed higher education in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Production, Petroleum, Chemical, or related fields), with a solid foundation in industrial processes, maintenance, and offshore asset management;
• Postgraduate degree or MBA in Project Management and PMP certification (desirable);
• Advanced knowledge in maintenance planning, project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, FEL), and planning tools MS Project, Primavera P6, SAP;
• Technical capacity to interpret regulatory standards of the oil and gas industry, ensure the elaboration of integrated schedules, manage multidisciplinary scopes, and conduct performance analyses based on performance indicators;
• Mastery of enterprise management systems (ERP), BI tools, and technical monitoring platforms, with the ability to make strategic decisions based on data and operational evidence;
• Fluent technical English for reading standards, manuals, and communicating with international suppliers, especially in contexts of auditing, contracts, and technical documentation.
