Mechanical Department Head

Print 4 Pack for Printing & Packaging is seeking an experienced Mechanical Department Head to join its team at a new factory currently under construction, specializing in the manufacturing of paper plates and paper cups. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising mechanical installation activities, supporting factory setup, overseeing machinery commissioning, and managing mechanical maintenance operations.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

More than 10 years of relevant professional experience in industrial manufacturing or production facilities.

Previous experience in mechanical team leadership and maintenance management.

Practical experience in machinery installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities Supervise the installation and mechanical setup of production machinery and equipment.

Oversee the installation, adjustment, and commissioning of paper plate and paper cup manufacturing machines.

Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans.

Diagnose mechanical faults, identify root causes, and minimize equipment downtime.

Lead and supervise the mechanical maintenance team and allocate responsibilities.

Coordinate with machinery suppliers and manufacturers during installation and commissioning.

Monitor equipment performance and improve operational efficiency.

Ensure compliance with technical standards and occupational health and safety requirements.

Preferred Qualifications Practical experience with hydraulic systems is an advantage.

Experience with pneumatic systems is an additional advantage.

Experience with paper cup or paper plate manufacturing machinery is highly preferred.

Experience in factory setup and production line commissioning is desirable.
