DIESEL ENGINE MECHANIC

Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) and overhaul of diesel generators and telecom tower sites (changing oil, filters, coolant, belts and fuel system flush) Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and fuel-related failures of diesel engines and site back up power units Conduct emergency troubleshooting and rapid-response repair for generator failures to restore telecom power supply quickly Inspect, repair, and service maintenance fleet vehicles (trucks, pickups, vans) to ensure transport safety and reliability Test, load-check, and monitor generator performance, ATS operations, and fuel consumption efficiency. Maintain accurate service records, logbooks, and mechanical inspection reports for all serviced generators and vehicles Ensure strict compliance with occupational safety protocols, environmental regulations, and safe chemical/oil handling on site

Qualifications/Requirements: At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in diesel engine repair, generator set maintenance, or automotive mechanical repair Vocational diploma or certificate in Automotive Technology, Diesel Engine Mechanics, or heavy equipment maintenance (TESDA) Strong knowledge of diesel engines, fuel injection systems, cooling systems, lubrication systems, and mechanical troubleshooting Basic understanding of generator alternators, automatic transfer switches (ATS), and DC power systems for telecom sites is a plus.
