Your tasks

Summary Speak with candidates in a friendly voice, listen carefully, and explain each next step through clear calls and messages. Your call list comes from applications, recruiter requests, and candidate searches. You check interest, ask basic fit questions, and help arrange interviews with recruiters. The aim is to keep candidates informed while giving recruiters useful notes for their conversations. A recruiting team lead sets your call priorities and explains how to handle questions needing extra guidance. You can work from home because this phone-based position is fully remote. The role pays a monthly base salary plus bonus opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review incoming applications and candidate lists in an applicant tracking system such as Workable, which stores candidate details and progress.
  • Find candidates through job boards, professional networks, and existing applicant tracking entries, using the recruiter's requirements to guide searches.
  • Contact candidates through a business phone system or dialer such as Aircall, a tool for making calls. Introduce your purpose clearly.
  • Explain the role using approved notes. Ask about interest, availability, and basic fit, then write clear answers without adding assumptions.
  • Build a shortlist using the recruiter's rules. Share it with recruiters and hiring managers, with brief reasons for each match.
  • Book interviews using a scheduling and calendar tool such as Google Calendar, which shows open interview times. Confirm agreed details.
  • Send clear reminders and keep candidates updated at each stage. Call back when requested or when someone misses an interview.
  • Answer simple questions from approved information. Bring unfamiliar questions to the recruiting team lead and explain the next step afterward.
  • Record call results, answers, and next actions. Mark wrong numbers, duplicate entries, and withdrawals while keeping candidate information private.
  • Send recruiters completed notes before interviews. Share daily call counts and booked interviews so the team can plan follow-up.
  • Meet quality standards through accurate notes, polite calls, correct bookings, prompt follow-up, and steady daily call activity.

Requirements

  • Professional spoken and written English, because calls are generally with candidates and teams in the United States.
  • A computer, a mobile phone, a stable internet connection, and reliable electricity.
  • No recruiting experience required. Related phone, customer service, scheduling, or administrative experience is preferred.
  • A calm, friendly phone voice that helps candidates understand why you are calling.
  • Willingness to learn the named applicant tracking, phone, and calendar tools through guided practice.
  • Basic understanding of candidate screening, interview booking, and passing clear notes to recruiters.
  • Ability to follow approved questions while listening carefully and writing answers accurately.
  • Care with names, interview dates, calendar entries, and the privacy of candidate information.
  • Comfort searching job boards and professional networks using clear requirements supplied by a recruiter.
  • Ability to write short reminders and explain next steps without making unsupported statements.

What we offer

  • A fully remote role with work from home as the normal setup.
  • Structured onboarding and training on Workable, Aircall, and Google Calendar, including practice with common tasks.
  • Regular check-ins with the team lead to review calls, ask questions, and strengthen your approach.
