Your tasks

Summary Start your day by matching the candidate list with open interview spaces on recruiters' calendars. Applications and recruiter requests guide which candidates you call first. You check interest and availability, then help each person choose an interview time. Your goal is to keep interview plans clear, accurate, and easy for candidates to follow. A recruiting team lead sets priorities and helps you resolve booking questions. The position is fully remote and lets you work from home while supporting candidates by phone. The role pays a monthly base salary plus bonus opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Begin with a scheduling and calendar tool such as Google Calendar, where you compare recruiter openings with pending interview requests.
  • Open a candidate list in an applicant tracking system such as Greenhouse, a system that stores applications and interview progress. Plan your calls.
  • Call candidates through a business phone system such as Aircall, a tool for making and tracking calls. Explain your reason for calling.
  • Ask about interest and availability using approved questions. Write clear answers so recruiters can understand what each candidate needs next.
  • Present available interview times and book the candidate's choice. Check the recruiter's calendar before saving the appointment to prevent overlapping bookings.
  • Confirm the interview date, time, and agreed contact method before ending the call. Explain the next step in simple words.
  • Send a short reminder before each interview. Keep the message clear so the candidate knows when and how to attend.
  • Call candidates after missed interviews and arrange another time when appropriate. Adjust bookings when a recruiter cannot attend, and explain changes promptly.
  • Update the candidate's stage and call notes after each conversation. Mark wrong numbers, duplicate entries, and withdrawals while keeping candidate information private.
  • Share booked interviews, daily booking counts, and useful candidate notes with recruiters. Ask the recruiting team lead about questions outside approved guidance.
  • Check your work before finishing the day's list. Quality means accurate bookings, polite calls, complete notes, and quick follow-up on outstanding steps.

Requirements

  • Professional spoken and written English, because calls are generally with candidates and teams in the United States.
  • A computer, a mobile phone, a stable internet connection, and reliable electricity.
  • No recruiting experience is required. Related phone support, customer service, scheduling, or administrative experience is preferred.
  • A calm, friendly phone manner that helps candidates understand questions and feel comfortable asking for clarification.
  • Willingness to learn the named tools for candidate tracking, phone calls, and calendars through guided practice.
  • Care when entering interview dates, recording candidate answers, and checking that notes match the conversation.
  • Basic understanding of interview scheduling, including reminders, changed appointments, and keeping recruiters informed about missed interviews.
  • Respect for candidate privacy and willingness to follow the team's instructions when handling application information.
  • Ability to listen closely, explain simple next steps, and ask the team lead when an answer is unclear.

What we offer

  • A fully remote role where you work from home and support candidates through phone conversations.
  • Structured onboarding and guidance on Greenhouse, Aircall, and Google Calendar, with practice before handling tasks independently.
  • Regular check-ins with the team lead to review questions, discuss call notes, and improve booking accuracy.
  • Explore growth opportunities within the team as you build confidence in candidate support and interview scheduling.
  • Bonus opportunities.
