Your tasks

Summary Start your day by matching incoming candidate lists with open interview spaces on recruiters' calendars. You call applicants, check their interest, and help them choose an interview time. Each conversation ends with clear details and a recorded next step. Your goal is to keep interview bookings accurate and candidates informed throughout the process. A recruiting team lead guides your booking work and helps resolve questions or calendar clashes. This fully remote position allows you to work from home while coordinating interviews by phone. The role pays a monthly base salary plus bonus opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Open candidate lists in an applicant tracking system such as Lever. Compare pending bookings with recruiters' available interview times before calling.
  • Call candidates through a business phone system or dialer such as Dialpad. Introduce yourself and explain why you are calling.
  • Ask brief questions about interest and availability. Record answers clearly so recruiters can understand what each candidate has confirmed.
  • Offer suitable interview choices using a scheduling and calendar tool such as Calendly. Book the candidate's chosen time without calendar clashes.
  • Read back the interview date, time, and agreed contact details before ending the call. Explain the next step in simple words.
  • Send short reminders before interviews. Use approved information to answer simple questions, and pass other questions to the recruiting team lead.
  • Call candidates again after missed interviews or changed plans. Arrange another suitable time when either the candidate or recruiter cannot attend.
  • Record every call result and booking. Keep candidate entries and calendars tidy by marking wrong numbers, duplicate entries, and withdrawals.
  • Pass booked interviews and complete call notes to recruiters. Share daily booking counts with the team and flag unresolved calendar issues.
  • Check your work against quality standards: accurate bookings, polite calls, complete notes, and quick follow-up. Correct mistakes before handing over details.

Requirements

  • Professional spoken and written English, because calls are generally with candidates and teams in the United States.
  • A computer, a mobile phone, a stable internet connection, and reliable electricity.
  • No recruiting experience required. Related phone support, customer service, scheduling, or administrative experience is preferred.
  • A calm, friendly phone voice and the ability to explain interview steps without rushing candidates.
  • Willingness to learn the named tracking, calling, and calendar tools through guided practice and clear instructions.
  • Basic understanding of interview booking, calendar availability, reminders, and the difference between a booking and a confirmed interview.
  • Care when entering candidate notes, checking dates, and reading back interview details before saving a booking.
  • Respect for candidate privacy, with careful handling of contact information and interview notes in approved systems.
  • Ability to listen closely, follow a call outline, and ask the team lead when an answer is unclear.

What we offer

  • A fully remote setup that lets you work from home while supporting interview bookings by phone.
  • Structured onboarding and guided training on the named tracking, phone, and calendar tools, with practice using the booking process.
  • Regular check-ins with the team lead to review questions, improve call clarity, and build confidence.
  • Growth opportunities within the team as you strengthen interview coordination and candidate support skills.
  • Bonus opportunities.
