Candidate Outreach Agent
Your tasks
Summary Speak with candidates in a friendly voice and send clear messages that explain their next step. Your call list comes from applications and follow-up requests shared by recruiters. You explain approved role details, check interest, and arrange interviews for candidates who wish to continue. Keep regular contact so candidates understand their progress and recruiters know what needs attention. A recruiting team lead provides call guidance, reviews your notes, and supports questions that need further help. The work is fully remote, and you work from home while staying connected with the recruiting team. The role pays a monthly base salary plus bonus opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
- Open candidate lists in an applicant tracking system such as Workable, which stores applications and call notes. Plan calls by priority.
- Call applicants through a business phone system or dialer such as Dialpad, which supports candidate calls. Introduce yourself and explain why you called.
- Share the role's main points using approved recruiter notes. Check interest and explain the next step in simple words.
- Ask short questions about availability and basic fit. Listen carefully, confirm unclear answers, and write useful notes for recruiters.
- Keep regular contact at each stage. Return requested calls and follow up when candidates have not completed their next step.
- Book interviews using a scheduling and calendar tool such as Calendly, which shows available interview times. Confirm the chosen details.
- Send clear reminders before interviews. Call candidates after missed interviews and help arrange another booking when appropriate.
- Answer simple questions using approved information. Refer unfamiliar questions to the recruiting team lead rather than guessing.
- Record each call result and next action. Mark wrong numbers, duplicate entries, and withdrawals to keep lists useful.
- Share daily call counts and booked interviews with recruiters. Pass candidate notes to them before each interview.
- Quality is judged through accurate notes, polite calls, prompt follow-up, and steady daily call activity. Use feedback to improve.
Requirements
- Professional spoken and written English, because calls are generally with candidates and teams in the United States.
- A computer, a mobile phone, a stable internet connection, and reliable electricity.

- A calm, friendly phone voice and the ability to explain next steps without rushing candidates.
- Willingness to learn the named tools for candidate lists, phone calls, and interview bookings.
- Basic understanding of candidate outreach and how recruiters use screening answers to prepare for interviews.
- Care with interview dates, call outcomes, and written notes so recruiters can understand each conversation.
- Respect for candidate privacy when viewing applications, discussing questions, and sharing notes with recruiters.
- Ability to write short messages, listen without interrupting, and confirm details before ending a call.
