Your tasks

Summary Follow each applicant from the first phone conversation to a clear next step with a recruiter. You receive candidate lists from applications and use approved questions to check basic fit. Your goal is to give recruiters clear notes and help suitable applicants reach an interview. A recruiting team lead guides your calls, answers questions, and explains the screening rules. This position is fully remote, so you can work from home throughout the process. You keep applicants informed and leave each conversation with a clear next action. The role pays a monthly base salary plus bonus opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Open your candidate list in an applicant tracking system such as Workable, a system that stores applications and screening notes. Plan your call order.
  • Call applicants through a business phone system or dialer such as Dialpad, a tool for making calls. Introduce yourself and explain the purpose.
  • Ask approved questions about interest, availability, a quiet workspace, and spoken English. Give applicants time to answer and record their responses clearly.
  • Explain the next step in simple words. Answer basic questions using approved information, and send other questions to the recruiting team lead.
  • Use the recruiter's screening rules to mark each applicant as ready, not now, or not a fit. Note the reason clearly.
  • Book ready applicants with recruiters using a scheduling and calendar tool such as Calendly, which shows available interview times. Confirm the details.
  • Send a short reminder before each interview. Contact applicants who miss their interview and help arrange another suitable time when needed.
  • Record each call result, the applicant's answers, and the next action. Make updates promptly so recruiters can see the current stage.
  • Share complete screening notes with the recruiter before the interview. Make the applicant's interest and any unanswered questions easy to understand.
  • Keep candidate entries tidy and private. Mark wrong numbers, repeated entries, and withdrawals so future calls use the right information.
  • Meet quality standards through accurate notes, polite calls, correct bookings, and quick follow-up. Use feedback to improve your next applicant conversation.

Requirements

  • Professional spoken and written English, because calls are generally with candidates and teams in the United States.
  • A computer, a mobile phone, a stable internet connection, and reliable electricity.
  • No recruiting experience required. Phone support, customer service, interview scheduling, or administrative experience is preferred.
  • A calm, friendly phone voice and the ability to help applicants understand each question without rushing them.
  • Willingness to learn the named applicant tracking, phone, and scheduling tools through guided practice.
  • Basic understanding of applicant screening and the difference between checking fit and arranging the next recruitment step.
  • Care when entering answers, checking interview dates, and matching notes to the correct applicant.
  • Respect for candidate privacy and willingness to follow team instructions when viewing or sharing information.
  • Ability to follow a question outline, listen closely, and ask the team lead when an answer needs guidance.

What we offer

  • A fully remote role that lets you work from home while supporting applicants by phone.
  • Structured onboarding and training on Workable, Dialpad, and Calendly, with guided practice for the screening workflow.
  • Regular check-ins with the team lead to review questions, call quality, and next steps.
  • Growth opportunities within the team as you build screening knowledge and confidence with candidate calls.
  • Bonus opportunities.
