Structural Steel Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Design, coordinate, plan and manage the projects assigned
- Plan and oversee ongoing site activities ensuring alignment with project plans
- Conduct structural analysis to ensure the integrity and safety of the steel elements.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and relevant authorities to coordinate project requirements
- Ensure all steel members are manufactured and installed according to design specifications.
- Manage and supervise the installation of structural steel components
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for the procurement of materials
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirement:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Good knowledge of construction methods and regulatory requirements in structural works
Strong project management and supervision skills
