Tunbridge Wells Salary: Up to £32,000 basic salary DOE + OTE Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent Working Hours: Monday–Friday Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
The Role
Are you an experienced Parts Advisor looking for your next opportunity within a successful and growing automotive business? We are currently recruiting for an experienced Parts Advisor to join a well-established and busy dealership in the Tunbridge Wells area. You will be joining an experienced and knowledgeable Parts team, supporting the busy workshop and ensuring technicians have the correct parts available when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplying parts to the busy workshop
- Identifying and ordering vehicle parts
- Dealing with parts enquiries from customers and technicians
- Managing goods-in processes
- Checking and rotating stock
- Pre-picking parts for upcoming workshop jobs
- Managing parts orders and ensuring they are available when required
- Working with electronic vehicle health checks
- Maintaining accurate stock records
- Building strong relationships with suppliers, technicians and customers
- Supporting the wider Parts Department and dealership team
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working as a Parts Advisor within the motor trade . You will have:
- Previous automotive Parts experience – essential
- Good knowledge of vehicle parts and the motor trade
- Strong parts identification skills
- Experience with ordering and stock control
- A good technical/mechanical understanding
- Excellent organisational skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Experience using Kerridge would be advantageous but is not essential .
