What will you do?
- Follow up with international suppliers, mainly from Asia.
- Manage the purchasing process from quotation to the delivery of merchandise at the CEDIS.
- Request and follow up on development, pre-production, and production samples.
- Review quotations and support the negotiation of prices and delivery times.
- Prepare costings and manage purchase authorizations.
- Generate and follow up on purchase orders.
- Coordinate payments to suppliers in conjunction with the Finance area.
- Monitor the production process and compliance with delivery dates.
- Coordinate quality inspections and ensure compliance with the NOM applicable to imports.
- Maintain solid commercial relationships with international suppliers.
Requirements
- Completed Bachelor's degree in International Business, International Trade, or a related field.
- Intermediate-advanced English (B2).
- Basic knowledge of import processes and NOM's.
- Interest in developing in international purchasing, negotiation, and imports.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Availability to work on-site.
- Work experience is not indispensable. Social service, professional internships, or related academic projects are considered.
