President Senior High School is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic IT Coding Teacher (Part-Time) to join our academic team. We are seeking an individual who has a strong foundation in Information Technology, Computer Science, and programming, with the ability to deliver engaging and practical learning experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and interactive IT, Computer Science, and Coding lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Guide and mentor students in coding projects, assignments, and practical activities.
- Assist students in identifying and resolving coding errors while developing their logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Assess students’ academic progress, assignments, projects, and learning outcomes, and prepare relevant reports.
- Maintain effective classroom management and create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Provide constructive feedback and academic support to help students improve their technical skills.
- Contribute ideas and feedback for the development and improvement of the IT and Coding curriculum and learning materials.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff in supporting academic programs and student development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.
- 1-3 years of teaching, tutoring, coding project, or related IT experience will be an advantage (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
- Good knowledge of Information Technology, Computer Science, programming, and coding fundamentals.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Passionate about teaching, mentoring, and working with high school students.
- Patient, adaptable, creative, and committed to continuous learning.
