Design Manager

Job Responsibilities: To lead and manage the design team in a professional manner, allocate work, provide guidance in drafting and design requirements

To improve productivity and accuracy of the design team

To provide design support to the Production and Sales Department.

To ensure all shop drawings are accurate and provided to the respective departments.

To coordinate with Project Coordinator to stamp drawings with PE and monitor the approval of shop drawing.

To discuss with consultants and authorities on any discrepancies and detail changes.

To attend site meeting on technical matters with design engineer and/or with Sales staff when required.

To enhance the team’s technical capabilities and develop solutions to technical and design challenges in accordance with singapore’s standards.

Analyse the team’s accuracy and efficiency and actively feedback to management.

Mentor and guide junior staff or colleagues.

Handle any additional tasks and duties assigned by management or the direct supervisor.

Job Requirements: Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Civil Engineering

Required language(s): English

At least 3-5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably specialized in precast industry.
