Bookkeeper

The job:

You will have exposure across accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, VAT and tax compliance, payroll and financial analysis . You will also have the opportunity to identify improvements and help develop finance processes as the business continues to grow.

• Maintaining accurate financial records.
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Completing regular bank reconciliations.
• Working with foreign currencies, including Euros and Yuan.
• Preparing financial reports including P&L, balance sheets and cash flow.
• Supporting budgets and forecasts.
• Assisting with VAT and tax compliance.
• Processing payroll.
• Working with colleagues and management to provide financial information.
• Other ad hoc duties as required.

The person:

Experience within engineering, construction, renewable energy or import/export would be advantageous.

You will be highly organised , detail - focused , accurate and methodical .

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders .

Good IT skills are essential .
