*Job description*

Prairie North Const. Ltd. is a heavy civil construction company with 30 years in the industry.

Prairie North Construction is recruiting a Dozer /Hoe Operators for a Project near Balzac, AB

*Duties:*

This position will be responsible for the following duties but not limited to:

• Operate Dozer as it applies to reclamation, sloping, backfilling, clean-up, rock ripping etc. along with the ability to read grade stakes
• Operate Excavator as it applies to ditching, sloping, clean-up in excavations and embankments, rock ripping etc. along with the ability to read grade stakes.
• Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Carry out minor maintenance and inspection for equipment and reporting any deficiencies.
• Capable of operating a range of dozer sizes (D5 to D8)
• Capable of operating a range of excavator sizes
• Experience with finish grade operations is highly valued
• Ability to work as a team and take direction.
• Perform other related duties as required.

*Qualifications:*

• Possess 2+ experience.
• Must pass a competency test on specified equipment.
• Experience with finish grade operations is highly valued
• Experience operating different heavy equipment is considered an asset.
• Valid class 5 driver?s license
• Local Preferred

*Certifications:*

• *MUST BE CLEAN SHAVEN*
• *Ground Disturbance, CSO or CSTS2020, Wildlife/Bear Awareness and H2S *
• *Current Drivers Abstract *
• *Must Be Able to Pass a Drug & Alcohol Test *

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $42.00-$45.00 per hour
