Children’s Social Worker – Family Help Team
Location: Hillingdon Rate: £39 per hour Contract: Locum Team: Family Help Team
Pertemps Social Care are currently recruiting for an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join a Family Help Team in Hillingdon . The successful candidate will work with children and families to assess needs, manage risk and provide effective interventions to improve outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of children and families.
- Complete assessments and develop appropriate support plans.
- Undertake statutory visits and reviews.
- Identify and manage risk, ensuring children are safeguarded.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and partner agencies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration .
- Previous experience within children’s social care .
- Experience working with children and families.
- Strong assessment, safeguarding and case management skills.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
