Advanced Practitioner – Children in Care
Location: Harrow Rate: £38–£40 per hour Contract: Locum Team: Children in Care
Pertemps Social Care are currently recruiting for an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join a Children in Care Team in Harrow . The role would suit an experienced social worker who is confident working with children in care and supporting positive outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a complex caseload of children in care.
- Undertake assessments, care planning and statutory visits.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
- Work closely with children, families, carers and partner agencies.
- Provide support and guidance to social workers and contribute to team development.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure statutory requirements are met.
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration .
- Significant experience working within Children in Care .
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding and care planning.
- Experience supporting colleagues or working at an advanced practitioner level.
- Excellent communication, assessment and report-writing skills.
