Construction Manager @ Jurong Island

Job Summary Element seeks a Construction Manager to join the operational leadership team at Jurong Island Power Plant. You will lead department safety, coordinate projects, manage staffing, and ensure timely, accurate test reports to support operational growth and quality assurance. Responsibilities Lead and improve department safety performance by fostering a safety-first culture. Support department operations and growth under guidance from Operations or General Manager. Plan, assign, and schedule work for team members to optimize productivity. Assist in coordinating projects from initiation through completion to meet deadlines. Ensure quality, timeliness, and accuracy of test reports to meet client and company standards. Communicate Element’s testing service benefits clearly by understanding company capabilities. Represent Element with integrity and professionalism in all interactions. Promote and enforce Element’s quality assurance and safety programs consistently. Manage staffing processes including hiring, conducting performance reviews, and approving timecards. Collaborate with team to maintain balanced and efficient work schedules. Maintain a respectful, compliant workplace by enforcing adherence to work rules. Lead the team fairly while supporting employee development and engagement. Handle administrative tasks such as invoicing, job tracking, and providing data for reports. Review testing services to identify opportunities for capacity growth and process improvements. Translate client technical requirements into pricing, timelines, and support for quoting and commercial activities.
