CIVIL ENGINEER (GENERAL)
A Senior Planning Engineer manages, develops, and maintains complex project schedules (using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project) to ensure on-time, within-budget completion. They analyze project performance, identify risks, optimize resources, and provide technical reports to stakeholders. Scheduling: Develop detailed baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project networks.
Monitoring & Control: Track project progress against the baseline, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to manage delays.
Risk & Resource Management: Perform risk analysis to mitigate potential schedule failures and optimize resource allocation.
Reporting & Communication: Prepare progress reports, S-curves, and presentations for senior management and clients.
Coordination: Liaise between engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment with the Project Execution Plan.
Qualifications/Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. Experience: Minimum 7+ years in project planning and control, preferably in construction or engineering industries.
