PROJECT MANAGEMENT LEADER - Retail Shop fitting

YOUR ROLE

As a Project Leader, you will be responsible for managing projects from project award, costing and planning through production, delivery, installation and final handover .

You will work closely with clients, designers, production teams, suppliers, contractors and internal project teams to ensure projects are delivered smoothly, on time and within budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage retail shopfitting projects from start to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, designers, production teams, suppliers and contractors.
• Review project drawings, specifications, quotations and timelines.
• Plan and monitor project schedules, budgets and resources.
• Coordinate production and fabrication with factories and suppliers.
• Manage site installation, including coordination of contractors and site teams.
• Conduct site visits and attend client / project meetings when required.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Manage project variations, costs, purchase orders and final accounts.
• Ensure quality, workmanship and project requirements are met.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Provide regular project updates to management.
• Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure projects are executed according to approved designs.
• Guide and support junior Project Managers / Project Executives where required.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Essential:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in retail shopfitting, interior fit-out, commercial interiors or a related industry .
• Strong understanding of shopfitting, fabrication, fixtures and site installation .
• Proven experience managing projects from design coordination through production and installation .
• Able to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong project coordination and organisational skills.
• Confident in dealing with clients, contractors and suppliers.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Able to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
• Proactive, responsible and able to work independently.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Willing to travel and attend site works when required.
