Your tasks

Plan and execute verification and validation activities.

Perform type tests within areas such as EMC, climate, electrical safety, mechanics, and electrical tests according to relevant standards.

Configure the products to be tested.

Practically build test setups with peripheral equipment, cabling, and monitoring.

Execute and document tests as well as write clear test reports.

Work with external certifications.

Communicate results and recommendations to design and development teams.

Contribute to continuous improvements within environmental and product testing.

Poolia is now seeking a Senior Verification & Validation Engineer for a consulting assignment at an international industrial company in Västerås, operating within advanced solutions for the industrial and energy sectors. You will become part of a technology-intensive operation where safety, quality, and reliability are central parts of the work. About the position As a Verification & Validation Engineer, you will work with planning, executing, and documenting the verification and validation of technical products. The work covers several technical areas, including electronics, software, FPGA, and mechanics. The role is practically oriented and involves independently configuring products, building test setups, and performing various types of tests. You will also collaborate with design and development teams where you communicate test results and technical recommendations. Scope: Full-time, 40 hours/week Period: 16 November 2026 – 30 June 2027 Location: Västerås, 100% on-site Travel: Approximately 10% Employment type: Consulting assignment via Poolia Your tasks In the role, you will among other things:

Who are you? We are looking for someone who has a solid technical background and is confident in independently performing advanced testing and verification activities. You thrive in a role where theory is combined with practical engineering work and where meticulous documentation is a natural part of the job. To be relevant for the role, we see that you have:

At least 5–6 years of relevant professional experience in verification, validation, testing, or a related technical field. The role is not intended for junior candidates.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field.

Alternatively, other technical education combined with 15 years of relevant professional experience.

Experience in technical testing and practical work with test setups.

Good ability to document and communicate test results.

Good knowledge of English, both oral and written.
