Are you studying at a university or college and want to combine your studies with a job where you get practical experience in sales and an international industrial business? Are you structured, curious, and interested in working closely with customers in the long term? Then the role of Inside Sales Coordinator at Optinova may be of interest to you. Optinova is now looking for a student who wants to work part-time alongside their studies and support the company's sales organization in Uppsala. In this role, you will gain insight into the commercial process and work with, among other things, quotations, orders, customer information, and internal coordination. The scope is flexible and is approximately 16–32 hours per week depending on your profile and your studies. The position is an hourly employment at Optinova. Selection and interviews take place continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. You are warmly welcome to submit your application today. About the role As an Inside Sales Coordinator, you support Optinova's commercial organization in the daily work with customers, orders, and sales administration. You work closely with colleagues in sales and simultaneously gain contact surfaces with several parts of the business. A central part of the role is to ensure that information is correct and that various activities in the sales process are followed up. This can involve preparing and updating quotations and order confirmations, registering orders, keeping customer and price information up to date, and following up on activities that need to be handled internally. In this way, you help to create structure and ensure that the right information is in place when colleagues and customers need it. You will have customer contact as part of the work, but the role does not mean that you yourself are the main contact person for a customer. Instead, you work together with more experienced colleagues and get the opportunity to learn how customer dialogue, sales administration, and internal processes are connected in an international B2B business. Your main tasks Support the sales organization with ongoing coordination and administration.
Who are you? We are looking for you who is meticulous and enjoys creating structure in your work. You take responsibility for what you start and ensure that tasks are followed up and completed. We also see that you thrive with many contact surfaces, find it easy to communicate with others, and to ask questions when you need more information to move forward. You are curious and want to understand how customer needs, sales, and a commercial business are connected. You are studying at a university or college within a relevant field, for example, industrial economics, and have the possibility to combine your studies with work 16–32 hours per week. During the summer, we wish that you have the possibility and want to work full-time. If you have previous experience in service, administration, or customer contact, it is a merit. Since Optinova is an international business, you need to be able to communicate well in English. Experience with administrative systems or ERP-system is a merit.
