Transport Manager M/F

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Integrated within the Logistics Department, you will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and end-to-end monitoring of transports (air, land, sea) necessary for the smooth operation of the company, while ensuring budget compliance. In this context, your main missions will be:

• Creating the annual embarkation backward schedule (on a rolling 18-month basis) for the assigned geographical area in order to meet fleet needs,
• Researching the most suitable transport solutions (quality, cost, lead times) for planned transports as well as ad-hoc requests before implementation (creation of files, validation, and monitoring of execution until final destinations or embarkation),
• Issuing and collecting the documentation necessary for the performance of the transport service while ensuring compliance with legislation at origin and destination regarding customs procedures, transport of dangerous goods and alcohol, veterinary and phytosanitary regulations,
• Ensuring the proper coordination of all actors involved in transport operations by communicating with intermediaries and recipients (ships, agents, or others) in order to streamline the delivery process,
• Managing and monitoring transport disputes,
• Ensuring the monitoring of supplier invoicing (carrier, agent, broker,...) in the various systems (NetSuite and MXP),
• Developing activity reports and KPIs to drive service performance,
• Working in collaboration with the Warehouse Logistics Manager to promote the communication of all policies related to processes.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

You have a good knowledge of the international transport and logistics environment. You are familiar with the main regulations related to import and export operations. You are proficient in English, both written and spoken, and are able to communicate with international interlocutors. You are comfortable with office tools and the IT tools necessary for monitoring your activity.
