CNC Service Technician/Application Technician with international assignments (m/f/d) (Technician - Machining Technology/Bachelor Professional in Technology)

Job Description

PolyTALENT is currently supporting a growing company from the machine tool industry in the Frankfurt am Main area in filling this responsible position as Mechanical Engineer / CNC Application Technician (m/f/d).

In this role, you will maintain modern CNC machine tools directly at the customer site and support technical applications, commissioning, and service cases.

You will program and optimize machine controls, analyze electrical and mechanical faults, and develop suitable solutions for specific machining tasks.

Additionally, you will support sales with technical queries and will regularly be on-site at customer locations. The position thus combines CNC technology, application technology, and technical service in a practical function.

Tasks

• Commissioning, service, and application technology on CNC machine tools at the customer's site
• Programming and optimization of machine controls and machining processes
• Systematic troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical components including fault rectification
• Support for complex machining solutions on 5-axis machines and turn-mill centers
• Technical consulting on operation, machining processes, and machine applications
• Interface function between customer, service, technology, and sales-oriented application consulting

Profile

• Completed vocational training or studies, e.g., as Mechatroniker (m/f/d), Elektroniker (m/f/d), Industriemechaniker (m/f/d), Maschinenbauingenieur (m/f/d) or comparable
• Practical experience in CNC service, commissioning, application technology, or as CNC-Servicetechniker (m/f/d), Field Service Engineer (m/f/d), or CNC-Techniker (m/f/d)
• Good knowledge of Siemens controls, ideally SINUMERIK and CNC programming
• Experience with CNC machine tools, preferably in the environment of 5-axis machining centers or turn-mill centers
• Good English skills for assignments and coordination in an international environment
• Driver's license as well as willingness to undertake national and international business trips
