Scope of responsibilities:

  • development and maintenance of a cloud platform based on OpenStack - deployments, updates, monitoring, diagnostics;
  • automation of the service lifecycle: Ansible, Terraform, pipelines in GitLab CI/CD;
  • functional tests (Tempest) and performance tests (Rally, fio, iperf) of deployed services;
  • maintenance and development of the observability stack: Prometheus, Mimir, Grafana, Loki, Fluent Bit, Grafana Alloy, Alertmanager;
  • code review of Infrastructure as Code and co-creation of team standards;
  • delivering compute, storage, and GPU resources for AI/ML, Big Data, and Cloud teams;
  • creating operational and design documentation and participating in maintaining infrastructure compliance with information security management system requirements (ISO 27001, NIS2);
  • cooperation with network and hardware teams in maintaining the base infrastructure;
  • participation in the team's rotational on-call duty.

Requirements:

  • education: higher (including bachelor's degree) - mandatory
  • other: BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
  • higher technical education preferred in computer science or related fields (Bachelor's or Master's degree) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, or student status, at least 3rd year in a technical field with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar position;
  • experience in maintaining one of the cloud or virtualization platforms in production - e.g., OpenStack, OpenNebula, Proxmox, VMware, Kubernetes on your own infrastructure; you know the IaaS model from the operator's side, not just the user's;
  • practical knowledge of Python and Bash - you write scripts and automate your work;
  • practical knowledge of virtualization: KVM/QEMU, libvirt;
  • practical knowledge of containerization: Docker or Podman;
  • working with IaC and CI/CD in practice - Ansible or Terraform, Git/GitLab;
  • ability to document your own solutions and transfer knowledge to the team;
  • readiness to participate in rotational on-call duty;
  • knowledge of English allowing for free work with technical documentation;
