Founded in 2016, the French leather goods house Polène has established itself through the excellence of its artisanal savoir-faire and an organic design, inspired by nature, giving birth to timeless pieces.

We are looking for a QA Analyst who will be the guarantor of the quality of the Polène e-commerce platform, one of the largest Shopify ecosystems in Europe (multi-stores), within a tech team currently being created.

Connected to a rich environment (ERP, WMS, PSP, CRM, DataLake, POS and internal tools), our platform constitutes a strategic lever to support our development and offer an excellent customer experience.

Role & responsibilities

  • Test functionalities before their production release: compliance with requirements and mockups (Figma), management of edge cases, cross-device journeys.
  • Help POs refine tickets: definition of acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure non-regression during production releases: tests on pre-production before deployment, then verification store by store and end-to-end purchase journeys.
  • Define and implement the testing strategy: test plans, risk-based prioritization on critical journeys (checkout funnel, orders, payments).
  • Evolve the position towards automation and AI, supported by the Tech Lead: deterministic E2E tests (Playwright, BrowserStack or equivalent) generated and maintained with AI, exploratory testing agents (browser piloting) to complement human verification.
  • Work continuously with developers, the Tech Lead and Product teams (PM, PO): quality intervenes upstream, and not just at the end of the chain.

Above all, you are passionate about quality and love understanding how a product works in the smallest details. Rigorous, methodical and endowed with a good critical mind, you take pleasure in identifying anomalies, anticipating edge cases and guaranteeing an irreproachable user experience.

You enjoy working in close collaboration with Product and Development teams, and know how to communicate clear, precise and constructive feedback.

Experience in e-commerce is a plus, but not indispensable.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • A first experience in functional QA or software testing.
  • Good mastery of designing test plans and test cases.
  • An understanding of web fundamentals (browsers, responsive, DevTools).
  • An ability to write clear and reproducible bug reports.
  • Sensitivity to UX/UI and respect for mockups (Figma).
  • A good level of English.

Will be appreciated:

  • Experience with Shopify or an e-commerce platform.
  • An appetite for test automation (Playwright, BrowserStack...) and the use of AI applied to quality.
