YOUR ROLE

Under the responsibility of the Demand & Distribution Planning Manager, your main mission is to guarantee the right supply of finished products for Polène's Digital & Boutique commercial network.

Thus, your activities are organized around 4 main pillars:

Analysis

  • Drive the correct stock positioning within the boutiques of the perimeter
  • Act as guarantor for stock allocation decisions on high-tension / shortage products between Digital and Retail boutiques
  • Identify potential stock rebalancing
  • Optimize end-of-life products and the long tail
  • Drive and manage key KPIs (e.g., Stock Quality and Availability Rate for Permanents, Stock Coverage, Service Level)

Operational

  • Be co-guarantor of the weekly stock allocation process from central stock to the commercial network through the establishment of distribution plans, while securing a fair share with Digital
  • Make new products available according to the defined launch date and set-up quantities
  • Anticipate stock calls and seasonality peaks (e.g., store openings, temporary events, seasonality such as Thanksgiving) in line with forecasts

Point of Contact

  • Be the preferred interlocutor for area managers / boutiques in your zone and for digital
  • Be the link with the ADV team to ensure the execution of distribution plans by the warehouse
  • Work in close collaboration with the Transport and Logistics teams to best anticipate forecasted volumes

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the improvement of distribution tools and processes
  • Build dashboards and reporting to assist in activity management
  • Contribute to major initiatives with an impact on distribution and stock management

You will excel in this position if:

  • You have a Master's degree (engineering school, business school, or university master's).
  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience in Distribution Planning, Supply Chain Planning, or a similar function.
  • You have a good understanding of distribution flows and, more broadly, Supply Chain challenges.
  • You master Excel at an advanced level (Power Query, Power Pivot, macros) and are comfortable with BI tools such as Power BI or Omni.
  • You have initial experience with APS-type tools and are comfortable with planning information systems.
  • You possess a strong analytical mind and know how to transform complex data into concrete and relevant recommendations.
  • You are organized, rigorous, and reliable, while being able to manage multiple subjects in a transforming environment.
  • You are autonomous, proactive, and solution-oriented, with the ability to take initiative.
  • You know how to demonstrate both high standards and pragmatism, finding the right balance between performance and compromise.
  • You are agile and adaptable and enjoy evolving in a constantly changing environment.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and know how to collaborate effectively with various interlocutors.
  • You are customer-oriented and are committed to contributing to a quality experience, in line with the requirements of a Premium+ environment.
  • You are fluent in English, which is essential for evolving in an international environment.
