Project Manager

We are looking for a PROJECT MANAGER

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the largest customer projects from the quotation stage through to successful delivery. Even in the quotation stage, you are involved in ensuring and planning the project's feasibility, technical integrity, schedules, and commercial terms. In this role, you work in close cooperation with customers and work with sales and design personnel, various actors in the order-to-delivery chain, as well as internal and external stakeholders. You are responsible for driving projects controlledly through the entire core process, up to customer handover. As a Project Manager, you must be an active and strong communicator towards customers, partners, and stakeholders.

To succeed in the role, you have:

• Strong technical understanding of electrical and building services systems
• Versatile project management and leadership skills, as well as a determined approach to driving things forward

• Understanding the importance of managing schedules, costs, and risks as part of project management
• Ability to organize large delivery entities and the readiness to make quick decisions in changing situations

• Ability to work fluently in English

We expect that initiative, an active work approach, and solution-orientedness are natural qualities for you. We particularly value technical understanding of, for example, the following entities: low-voltage and medium-voltage systems, UPS systems and backup power, power distribution and critical power supply, BMS and building automation systems, HVAC systems, cooling and thermal management solutions, and integrations and interfaces of technical systems. We do not expect deep expertise in all of these; the most important thing is the ability to understand and grasp technical entities and identify the technical dependencies of the project. Additionally, you must be prepared to discuss various technical solutions together with customers and experts.

Proficiency in the Finnish language and the possibility to work in Kuopio are considered advantages, but they are not essential for the role. The job involves traveling domestically and abroad. Previous experience, e.g., in data center, energy, automation, construction technology, or other technical B2B delivery projects, is well-suited to the position.
