Technical Sales Engineer (M/F)
The agency POINT Z is looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer (M/F) for one of its clients.
Our client is a design office specialized in electric and mechanical cylinders, slewing rings, and industrial protections. Our client assists its customers from definition and supply through to commissioning. As the manager of a previously defined sector (northern sector), you will be responsible for developing your customer partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Mechanical consulting will remain at the heart of your missions, as well as project follow-up.

Reporting to the design office and the Sales department, based in Gazeran (78), you will evolve within a team specialized in mechanical dimensioning and project management: Electric cylinders, slewing rings, industrial protections, and linear guides.
For this position, your main missions will be to:
- Define the customer's needs based on their specifications
- Provide consistent mechanical solutions
- Dimension the desired mechanical elements
- Ensure the management and follow-up of major mechanical projects
- Manage offers/supplier relations
- Work in cohesion with the design office and the sales department
- Perform weekly and monthly project reporting
Profile sought: With higher education, such as a mechanical engineer degree, you will have at least a first experience of 2 to 3 years acquired in the field of mechanical design/dimensioning.
- Engineer specialized in mechanics/engineering
- Ideally 1 to 2 years of experience in a technical sales role or similar function
- Frequent travel across northern France and 2 times per month in Île-de-France
- Mastery of English is mandatory
- Category B driving license is mandatory
- Mastery of Catia V5 and/or Solidworks is essential
- Good communication skills and rigorous organizational skills are also required for this position
- Mastery of notions in electricity and automation is a plus, as is mastery of written and spoken English
