CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR
Your tasks
- Supervise daily construction activities at the worksite.
- Coordinate workers, subcontractors and site activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor work progress and ensure tasks are completed according to project schedules.
- Read and follow construction drawings, plans and specifications.
- Check the quality of construction work and ensure it meets the required standards.
- Ensure workers follow workplace safety rules and safe work procedures.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers and other parties to resolve site issues.
- Prepare daily site reports and update work progress.
- Monitor the use of construction materials, tools and equipment.
- Assist with manpower planning and the allocation of daily work tasks.
- Arrange and coordinate the transportation of workers to and from the worksite when required.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in construction site supervision.
- Basic knowledge of construction methods, drawings and site operations.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to manage daily site activities and solve work-related problems.
- Responsible, organised and able to work independently.
- Knowledge of workplace safety requirements is an advantage.
