Senior Data Engineer, Supply Chain

Your tasks

Position Overview Work with Supply Chain, Operations and Manufacturing users to define requirements for POET's in-house Advanced Planning System (APS), build Power BI and Tableau reporting, analyse business data, and support solution design and UAT.

Job Responsibilities

• Engage Supply Chain, Operations and Manufacturing users to understand their planning processes, business problems and reporting needs.
• Gather and document APS requirements for demand, supply, inventory, capacity and scenario planning.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, process flows, report specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Build and maintain dashboards and analytical views in Power BI and Tableau.
• Act as the main point of contact for reporting requests, priorities and progress updates.
• Analyse supply-chain and manufacturing data and present insights to stakeholders.
• Define and maintain KPI definitions, business rules and report documentation.
• Coordinate UAT with business users and data engineers, and support training and adoption of new solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years in supply-chain planning, supply-chain analytics, business analysis or reporting; semiconductor, electronics or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of supply-chain planning (demand, supply, inventory, capacity, procurement); exposure to ERP or APS systems is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar tools, requirements gathering and UAT coordination; basic SQL is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
