Job Title: Assistant Concierge

Location: North West London

Salary: £25,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 6:00pm

About the Role

We are looking for a professional, friendly and proactive Assistant Concierge to join the onsite team at a residential development in London. The successful candidate will support the Concierge team with the day to day running of the building, providing excellent customer service to residents and visitors while maintaining a safe, welcoming and well presented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Resident & Visitor Services

  • Provide a friendly, professional and welcoming service to all residents and visitors.
  • Respond to resident enquiries, requests and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist residents with booking communal facilities and amenities.
  • Support the Concierge team in delivering high standards of customer service.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and presentable reception area.

Security & Building Operations

  • Monitor building access and ensure visitors and contractors follow the correct procedures.
  • Assist with regular building inspections and communal area checks.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues, security concerns and health and safety hazards.
  • Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies, following building procedures.
  • Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the development.

Administration & Communication

  • Manage incoming calls, emails and general resident enquiries.
  • Assist with parcel deliveries, collections and key management.
  • Maintain accurate records, logs and handover information.
  • Support the management of communal facility bookings.
  • Liaise with the onsite team, contractors and residents as required.
  • Carry out additional administrative and operational duties as directed by the management team.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a Concierge, Receptionist or customer-facing role is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience within residential property, hospitality or a similar service-led environment would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Confident using Microsoft Outlook and general computer systems.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety procedures is desirable.
  • First Aid training or willingness to undertake relevant training.
