Job Summary

Deliver engaging academic-focused lessons and supervise primary school children to support their learning and safety in a positive, student-centric environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and present PlayFACTO lesson content effectively to primary school children (Primary 1 to 6) to support their academic progress
• Supervise children to ensure timely completion of daily homework and spelling tasks
• Ensure the safety and timely transfer of students from school to the student centre
• Maintain a safe classroom environment for all children during lessons
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide clear feedback on children’s behavioural and learning progress
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the centre premises to provide a healthy environment
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Centre Head or Director

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or higher in any discipline
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience with children, preferably at the primary school level
• Good communication skills to engage children and liaise with parents effectively
• Classroom management skills to maintain order and support learning
• Strong work ethics, integrity, and a positive attitude
• Passion for nurturing and supporting children’s development

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• WSQ Student Care / Early Childhood certificate or equivalent (not essential but advantageous)
• Experience working with children (training provided for candidates without experience)
